OK, I am looking for the best straight-up mids. I do not need good high-range, cuz I'm set with Tweeters, and I want speakers with the least amount of bass possible, because I've already got 2 12's that take care of that

well if you looking for mid's and you have pounding bass then your gonna want some MID-BASS to even things out and draw your sub sound towards the front of your car. Hex has the most mid bass out of all those listed above. if you like to play your music to the max then you should look into hex.

too bad you missed the sale at partsexpress....Vifa PL's - they were 18 bucks each!! Now they are back to 35 each. They are very large drivers though

I've had better luck with ID CX or IDQ mids then the Hex...I thought midbass was their weakest point.
