amplifier question
Worned? What?
What the hell is a cracked worned out amp?
Amplifiers are just like any other electronic device. Components fail, and then the unit ceases to function properly. However, they really don't "wear out" (proper past tense of wear is "worn"). I have a US Amps USA-100 & a USA100x that have been in three different vehicles & still sound as good as the day I bought them in 1998.

Yes kinda, Heat is the enemy of any amplifier. All amplifiers will fail at some point in their life. It's only a matter of when not if. The harder the life the amplifier lives the shorter it will be.
Can style capacitors dry up and become nonfunctional, transistors burn themselves out.
But until that day comes I highly doubt you would hear a difference.
