What kind of fuse is in the power cable, [by the batt.]?
Have you checked the ground?
Where is the amp mounted and where is the ground cable connected?
Last but not least, what is the make and model of the amp? 94

Just a check, but is the remote wire hooked up/working correctly? Didn't see any mention of it.

One more question, what is the MTX amp driving, and please give me makes and models, including the model of the MTX amp. 94

Perhaps the leed that goes to the power terminal inside the amp is broken. Try taking it apart to see if it's anything obivious, since you have nothing to loose. Use your meter or a friends to check for continuity from where the feed wires go to where the circuit. I've also seen amps where a jumper simply broke, probably from vibration. I don't suppose this amp was hooked up to a 12" JL sub with a ported box that's been recarpeted has it?

HAHAHA! Yea, you should have checked it with my meter. This sucks I can only type up 5 messages a day because of this trial stuff. My slo mx5 just got a little quicker; I washed it. Let me have your old amp, I'll probably fix it and use it in my car to drive the door speakers. That would be cool If it's repairable. Come check out miata.net!!!

aw, come check it out. There's a lot more people and you can read how people get pissed because they ran 12PSI for 4 years and 40K miles and now there motor uses oil and is starting to loose compression. Funny, a honda makes more power off boost than a mazda, but the mazda will take a hell of a lot more abuse stock before kicken the bucket.
