Alternator?

I have to ask, why do you want to install a second battery? If you sit in parking lots with your car off a second battery is a good idea. If you drive and listen then it's a bad idea.

I would save the money and buy a larger alternator instead of a second battery.

The order I would do things.
1.upgrade wires
2.upgrade battery to low ESR version.
3.Buy low ESR cap that fits system
4.Upgrade Alternator.

In answer to your questions


1. I don't think they have anything bigger then double 0 gauge wire(which i'm running)
2. I'm assuming you don't think the yellow top is good for me, what do you recommend
3. I don't think having a bigger cap will do any harm
4. I plan to, but 500 beans for an alternator right now is a lil more then I wanna spend plus I'm having huge issues with getting my suspension on the car right now and it looks like I'll need to drop some money to get that taken care of
