alpine type s or infintity references??
Looking for a good 5 1/4 speaker for the rear on my hatch. I got a crappy deck for now but will be upgrading a lil later. I just want a clean sounding speaker for a good price. I came across the alpine sps-13c2 or sps-500 and infinity reference 5022i or kappa 52.7I. Which brand would be a better choice and which one out of the brand selection? I got a type s 10 in the hatch so lows arent a problem. I will also match the fronts to the rears a lil down the road.

Better yet, forget rear speaker, spend twice as much on front speakers.

fcm has some great tips on mounting your fronts as well

From: if you build it they will come, the bottom carolina, duh
I got the type s 2way in the front and i really dont like the way they really sound. I have them wired to my h.u avic deh5700. They seem to distort alot. I wana try them with an amp. But yeah id much rather have a nice sounding front set of speakers, and between those two you wont really hear that much of a difference.
