Default alpine type R reviews

what do yuo guys think about the alpine type R subs? i heard them today and they sound pretty good.... they were in a shitty poorly sealed to much air box also.

they are a very good all around sub. their cost is reasonable, the bass is great, they look nice, they sound good, put them in a ported box and they hammer. without breaking the bank i dont think you can beat that sub, the 12 is only $199 retail.

You can get 2 12's for $220ish on ebay. Awesome bang for the buck...

you should go with the type Rs...i have two of them powered by one mrd-m500 v12 amp and they hit extremely hard...sometimes when i stand outside my car, the trunk rattles so much that i fear that my spoiler and license plate are going to fly off (although i kno thats not going to happen). soon im going to get a new amp though...either the new alpine mrd-m1000 amp or the old alpine 1507 v12 amp.

as for the box, they don't really need alot of air. they only need about 1 cubic foot of space to sound good.

i scrapped it and went for an audiobahn, i will soon be getting a AW1205Q 12" and i got it for 195.94 shipped brand new...

i have 2 alpine type r subs ran by a mrdm500 in a sealed box and they pound i cant beat the price i paid 500.00 about for both subs and the amp gotta love ebay
