Default alpine / ipod issues

i just installed an alpine ipod-ready deck into a car. now when we play the ipod, it will come on on all inputs (tuner, cd, aux, etc.) it is just always taking signal from the ipod. does anyone know what option in the menu would turn this off or if we just did something wrong. thanks for the help

I know you can use some ipod connection that allows you to use it on an FM channel.
