So I purchased this head unit about 7 months ago and I finally purchased a KCE-236B which is an aux input cable. This head unit has no disc reader only usb/ipod/aux options.

Now that I plug it it and hit source it does not read it and I do not have the manual to find out what the correct way of setting it up is. I tried looking on the alpine site but its the manual for ida-x200 and i could not find much about it.

Please help!

i looked it through i couldn't find any information regarding the aux input cable? do you have any experience with this? thank you.

is it possible my head unit does not offer this feature? i cannot seem to find anything that has to do with AUX on the head unit itself.

I bought the HU from Best Buy I believe it has been a while.

I have no clue how to get the aux to work I tried everything you've said and the manual has.

 

Go to Best Buy and have an istaller look at it, the HU may be defective. 94
