Default Alpine entry-level double DIN navigation

I've looked online and at Best Buy and I'm having a hard time trying to find a double din Alpine with navigation. I was looking at one and then I noticed it said that navigation is an add-on. How much is that and what's the model number of the add-on module? Can anyone give me some model numbers to search for for a complete unit? I don't know if it's my browser but I can't even find **** on their site.

Alpine just came out with a double din unit, the IVA-W200... http://www.alpine-usa.com/en/p...-W200

And navigation is an add on, the NVE-N872A... http://www.alpine-usa.com/en/p...N872A $1100 and $1400 US. 94

FCM is correct. You can also use an earlier version of the dvd nav system...just update the maps (avg price is $350 for dvd's). Look for models NVEN851a and NVEN852a- only difference-852a has a slightly faster processor. Look on Ebay sometimes you get lucky . I personally use the 851a ( have since it's introduction...no issue what so ever..just updated the dvd when I needed too)
I'm happy. Have fun

Damn. Those two parts total out for just under 3 grand. I would rather just get the Eclipse for $1400 and buy him a new changer. It's probably better anyway. I guess Alpine's really falling behind on this one.

don't forget that the new Blackbird can be docked and used with the W200 as a navigation add on:

http://www.alpine-usa.com/en/p...-B100

700 for the unit + 200 for the dock - 900 total. But now you have a portable Nav device that you can take with you....not a bad idea.

Well the AVICD2 Pioneer's DD nav sysytem is the way to go if your money is funny . I'd check a few retailers (*cough* BEST BUY *cough* ) for a hard to beat price on those...granted the unit is a CD unit only...so a dvd will have to be external...but ifyourmain concern is NAV for the money its not bad.

kenwood is an add on...avg retail is $1700 and it just sucks ( I have installed 20 in the last couple of years...I still aint impressed.( my customers have said worse ....I 'll give the win to alpine)
