Default Alpine CDA-7894 question

I'm thinking of purchasing this head unit but before I make a decision, is it compatible with the stock Acura 6 disc changer on a 2001 Integra? If it is, where can I find an adapter?

Nope. The whole interface language is different. Unfortunantly I only know of the adaptors from Alpine M-Bus changers to factory honda radios. You couldn't even modify one of these, as the CDA-7894 uses the Ai-Net interface, and not the M-Bus

dang, i was gonna buy one and try to use my OEM changer, o well, I bet I could just put the 6 cd's on one CD-R and play it through the headunit.

I have a 7998. I will take the mp3 playback over cd changer anytime. I am considering purchasing the alpine cd changer, since it supports mp3 playback also. I would never have to put a cd in again
