I should have stated my company ( Tweeter Etc ) carries Alpine,Boston,Xtant,JL Audio,Kenwood,Eclipse and in certain areas Kicker and PPI ( if im not mistaken)
I get the crutchfield crowd a lot..and the prices are the same on many of the products ( Bonus...you can get instant gratification in most cases)

Hope this clears it up

Chuck

Honestly its a Very good price....TOO GOOD...its almost @ cost. Since most shops wont get a shipment from alpine 'til mid August....I wonder what kind of support they have to offer you after the sale.? I'd really wonder about that one.

not sure how the area you live in is like.. but I live in So Cali so we have A LOT of car audio shops.. whenever buying things (whether it be electronics, computer stuf, car parts, etc).. I usually print out the product info, specs, prices from several places on the net..

then I just hit up all the reputable local shops and ask them whats the lowest, show them the prices I can get it for.. and see if they'll beat or match that.. then i get them to write the price on their business card and take it to their competitors down the street or whatever and see if they can do it for less ... I usually say sumthing like (w/ the print out) well I can get it from here for $XXX and wait a few days for shipping which isn't a biggie.. OR I can buy it from YOU TODAY.. you make a sale.. I get my product we're both happy... I usually get a coo deal..

Don't take this the wrong way....But I HATE people like you..... . I'll let you in on a little secret....most online retailers have a margin of 30-38 points of margin. The biz model has always been 26 pts....his quote was 18pts. Not good.
Now a retailer can quote a very lowball price if the item is not in stock. Now, if you bring me a price quote that is so way off the mark..I'll ask you " Thats a great price..if you don't mind me asking...why did'nt you purchase it?"..Playing the numbers game can also work against you.....Most legitimate dealers want your biz and do want to give you the best service that they can...but not at the expense of losing money.

well $469 is the price i've seen on carmedia1.com which ive heard good things about, they give free harnesses too, like crutchfeild. amongst ebay sellers, who have it for around the same price.

but i dont mind you hating me, im sorry if i shop around. i work hard for my money and i dont really enjoy the thought of bending over just because i get a reply 10 minutes faster than the other guy.

its coo.. don't u own a car audio shop or something? I can understand y u hate customers like me.. I've encountered some people straight up get mad when I bring their competitors prices.... as for the great price/y didn't I get it there.. well I want the product I just also want the best price on it... I never walk into shops to bullshit about things I don't plan on buying..

I just want the BEST price I can get.. so its like if a local shop can sell me the profit for the same or lower.. then I'll buy it locally TODAY then and there on the spot.. if not.. then I'll buy it from the net company that has it for a good price and wait a few days.. either way I have the make/model number/product that I originally wanted...

as a comsumer/customer U get what I'm saying right? I understand your point as a business owner.. but as a customer .. its money coming out of my pocket.. the less I pay for the same product/same model number, etc.. the bettah for me at least..

i think he was reffering to me.. and my price shopping/matching between local shops and internet retailers..

anyway no matter how much money you make.. moneys money.. the more on your side/in your account the bettah..

AudioRoach: Lolz the car dealers didn't like my edmunds.com, kbb.com and nada print outs and all the info I walked into the showroom w/ either... I got both my cars for a good price though.. so I couldn't be happier...

I hope u understand where I'm coming from..

Don't be sorry for shopping around...we all want to get the best price..hell I do it when i go shopping, just think about the guys on the other end...the salesperson. That person has to earn a living too. What I'm trying to say is PLEASE don't go into stores, ask a bunch of question, ask for the best price....state I can get it from xyz.com for this price and walk out. This is why there are Circuit City,Best Buy,Walmart,Costco,Sam's Club..etc...places where service is not a premium...its all about moving boxs. I love intranet shoppers....you have done all your research, you know what you want, all i have to do is ring you up...cool huh.
Just a thought.
