Default Alarm throwing warnings at random..

I just had a 2wayFm paging system installed in my civic. It all works great. But my only concern is that sometimes it will sound a warning (2 beeps from the siren) and the pager will go nuts telling me there has been a warning. But this will happen for no reason. Usually it would be a car with a loud muffler, or a fast moving truck to do something like this. But its dead quiet, and it trows a warning. I also noticed something interesting. I was looking at the installation, and I noticed that the shock sensor was mounted on to my ignition wires. Its a pretty sturdy location, but Im sure its somewhat shock proof, taking away from the sensors abilitiy to sence small vibrations. Tell me what you think of this guys. Thanks..

it would help if you stated the make and model number of your alarm system... by 2wayFM do you mean you have the Compustar 2way system? or do you have something else? its really hard to try to help you if we all don't know what kind of equipment (model numbers) you have... as for mounting the shock sensor on wires.. it should be mounted on a secure/solid surface that is close to the center of the vehicle for optimal and even coverage...

so what your saying is that your pager beeps when your alarms warn away chirps go off? well give us more info and maybe we can help...
