Hey guys, I stealth installed my Viper 5002 alarm back months ago and I have enjoyed it.

Here lately it has tripped 30 seconds to a minute after I have armed the alarm and walked away and the remote is flashing trunk. It has done this a few times within the past 2 weeks or so. Why/how would my trunk be tripping the alarm when it hasn't been opened and isn't open?

 

Do you have a trunk pin switch? Maybe something is shorted out?

 

Hey man, That's a negative on the trunk pin switch, hood pin yes but no trunk pin. It hasn't done it once since I posted this thread so hopefully its through acting up. Thanks for the reply dude.
