yes just contact the manufacturer I'm sure they'll be happy to sell you a new one..
if its a popular brand.. you should be able to walk into any car stereo and alarm shop that carries the same brand (ie... Clifford, Viper/DEI, Alpine, Avital, etc..) and you should be able to buy or order a remote for your specific brand and model number alarm..

theres also places like http://www.remotesunlimited.com but I'd rather get it locally...

w/ your new remote you will have to program your new remote to your alarms brain so they can work/interface together.. look in your owners manual on how to "add/delete" remotes.. and follow the procedure.. most likely your going to go into program mode.. then transmit each channel and the alarm will chirp to confirm its added this remote to a particular channel.. but it varies so check your owners manual...

hope that helps

one more question, are all the clifford remotes programmable to any clifford alarm, or are the remotes specific to each model?

they vary depending on your model (high end or low end) and also approximate year/model year/line...

like i've said in many of my other posts.. my parents have used CLifford alarms for over 20 yrs (and I've been using them since I started driving when i was 16 ..im in my 20's now).. just from what I've seen..

my dad had a 1 button clifford (red button) back in the 80's.then they had 2 button (2 grey I and II buttons.. in a black case) then they had 2 buttons where the primary button was either grey or green.. then theres 2 smaller buttons... then 4 button remotes (looked like the 2 buttons.. w/ grey I, II, III, IV buttons.. and the casing was black).. then there was the G3 (generation 3) remotes which have 4 buttons on the top/face.. and one button on the side (shift button. .to change channel range).. the ACG remotes (same as previous.. but htey were ACG.. anti code grabbing).. then theres the G4 remotes.. which are similar to the G3 ACG remotes... and the accompanying G4 remotes which have Icons/pictures on the buttons.. for lock/unlock/arm/disarm.. option(*) and trunk pop

so yeah theres definately more than a few remotes for Clifford alarms.. it would help if you knew what model number your alarm is.. (example.. Inteliguard 900 IQ, Avant Guard IV G4, Cyber 1, Arrow 2, Concept 60, Inteliguard 7000 G4, etc.. etc..).. that way the shop can know what remote will work w/ your alarm for sure...

sorry the reply is so long.. what does your previous remote look like? if you have the model number or can describe the previous remote.. the shop can probably order you a remote and program it for you...
