Hmm... any model #'s? I am looking for something that could pop shaved door handles, and starter kill too. Anything that does any of that out there?

hmm any of the higher models should have extra channels for you to add options like your door proppers... I havent shopped for alarms in a long time.. so the model numbers probably dont apply anymore..

vipers 800 ESP has like 7 channels i think
Cliffords IQ/Intelliguards uppper series IQ900 or 9000 should have that..also the upper model concepts Concept 60/6000 and AvantGuard (this is what i have)
Alpines 8054 or 806Xseries should have extra channels..

like i said I havent been alarm shopping in years.. when i was shopping they had Intelliguard 700, 800, 900.. and Concept 20, 40, 60 for Cliffords.. now I think the numbers are in the thousands.. ie.. IQ 9000 or something.. so my info isn't up to date.. sorry... I have the Avantguard III (3).. their out w/ AV4 and are coming out w/ AV5.. so maybe sum1 else can give u more up to date model numbers/info..

pretty much all alarms have starter kill, flashing parking lights, shock sensor, etc..

Hmm... I will have to look into some of the models, thank you. I just would like to be able to keep my car in one piece and not be stolen by freaky a$$hole weirdos when the car isn't in my garage looked up safely and protected by my house alarm.

An alarm with starter kill is useless with a manual trans., ignition kill or a fuel cut off is teh only way to keep it from getting driven away... towed is a whole other story.

The Code Alarm Paging Alarm System is one of the best I've used so far.... great alarm and most theives know about its paging capabilities by the sticker and the glass mount shock sensor. Pricey but worth it.. also check if Lo-jack is available in your area. GL

I think Lo-Jack is avaliable in my area but I haven't had a chance to look into it, which is why I have been asking opinions on alarms and stuff. I have seen some of the pager model alarms, they are quite interesting and worth a look into. Thank you for the wish of luck, we all need it with the gear some of these thieves have...

I just became a dealer for the powerlock system in Irvine Ca, check out the system on http://www.powerlock.com they had just come out with a new model that will open your doors when you walk up to your car between 25-15 feet and lock and arm your vehicle when you walk away. It does not have all the bells and whistle's that alarms have but this is not an alarm but an anti-theft system which will stop most theives from getting the vehicle started by hotwiring. The system leaves only two options to take it fast enough. Check it out.
