Default Alarm install

I am about to install an alarm in my 91 civic hatch. Before anyone bashes me & tells me to have it profesionally installed, this is not the first alarm I've installed. Now, my question is, where should I mount the brain for the alarm? I have always mounted it under the dash somewhere on other cars that I've worked on. The problem I see with my hatch is there is very limited room under there, and I don't want it to be easily accessible to would be theives. I'm considering under the seat, but again that seems like if the thief looks under there he'll see it. Any advice on some stealth mounting spot? I want to try to keep it near the front do to all of the wiring, but I'll consider all suggestions.

Also, this alarm is the first I've installed with a glass break sensor. Where should I mount the microphone so that it will cover the whole car?

Make sure and take the time to hide the wires as well. It does no good to have the brain well hidden and have obvious aftermarket wires everywhere.

I had to bring this back up because there is simply nowhere to mount this thing. There is not enought space behind or above the glovebox. And for that matter, I can't find anywhere to mount it under the dash @ all. I removed pretty much the entire dash w/o any luck finding any free space. Anyone have alternate ideas? I'm stuck here! The only place I can think of is under one of the seats, but I know that wouldn't be a great place do to its easy accessibilty.

HELP me out guys!

Can you actually install it within your glovebox at worst case scenario?

well you can put it anywhere you want. if you install it correctly you could set it on the floor of the car in plain view and a theif stull couldn't get into the car without it going off.
