i have a 1993 honda del sol power windows but the power locks do not work and what i need to no is since i have all of that stuff how hard would it be to get a alarm and auto lock kit installed and how would i go about doing that.And what does it hook into????? a friend says ecu but i can highly doubt that

 

First thing you need to do is find out if it is the actuators, [door lock motors] or the Power Door Lock Control Unit that is not working.

You have checked the fuse, right?

It could also the switch, although I do not have a wiring diagram for a 94 Del Sol I would guess it is the same as, or close, to a 94 Integra or most 94 Honda/Acura, if it was the switch, it would have to be both, the one by the inside door handle and the one in the drivers door actuator.

My guess would be that it is the PDLCU, if so, you could use an alarm, [if your installing an alarm anyway] and pair of relays to control the door locks and give you key-less entry, you only need the relays to get the door locks working, or you could just find out what is wrong and fix it, unless you are installing an alarm, anyway. 94
