What's dumb about it exactly?
If you guys have sore brains, imagine how I feel.
Here's the email I got back from the company.

Anthony,
Generally it's not a recommended practice but if you need to you can use our device's "Starter Control Relay Output". This output is controlled in a way that when the remote is in the range output will turn ON and OFF when remote is outside the range. You could use this relay output to mask the other system sensing inputs or cut the power feed to the other alarm system. Also by not connecting any of the horn/flasher outputs from our system it will turn it into an alarm-less unit.
Regards,
Brian

So, they are suggesting to use their starter output to cut power from the aftermarket alarm. So, basically, when you walk up to your car, it senses your key card, and their starter output relay control wire activates, then shuts down your alarm. No more ignition controlled locks, and, once you get out of your car and walk away, that starter relay control wire deactivates, putting power back on your alarm. In most cases, this would make the siren go off :/ That would be kinda embarassing to have your alarm go off everytime you walk away from your car. Not only that, if you remote started your car, then walked up to it, it would shut the car off, then you have to get in, and start the car again, that would suck too... I would prefer to do what Cobb and I posted yesterday, vs Advanced Key's suggestion... Granted, it would cost a little more, but it would be waaaayyyy less annoying.

Yea, I'm not sure what I'll do till I get it.
I don't have remote start on my current alarm and don't really need it either.
Either way my current alarm will be removed because it's a huge piece of ****.

DUDE!!! got it
reading through the manual. to turn the ign on you don't push the brake pedal. so you would just put the start button twice WITHOUT your foot on the brake and it turns to ign on mode, then you would push the brake and the RS would disengage. PROBLEM solved.

Here's a bump with a bit of info I got.
I found a guy on Youtube running an Advanced Key and Compustar alarm. He said he was using the input for lock and unlock. It looks like the CM6000 brain has these inputs.
However that's all the info I've got.
Any of the pros want to take a stab at this one?
