any input on the install and whether I will need sound deadening or a cap or anything like that is appreciated. or how much would i expect a shop to charge to install everything? i plan on getting my wiring from knukonceptz.com will i just need (1) 4 guage kit? or 2? as you can see im working on a budget, so as economical as possible. thanks guys

 

OK, a few things you have a 600W sub being run by a 1x600W RMS into 4 ohm amp, as long as the sub is a DVC 2 ohm sub it should work just fine. However you have a 2x100W RMS into 4 ohms running 150W speakers, IMO that is under-powering the speakers by 50W a side, although it can work, be careful not to drive the amp into clipping, you can/will damage the speakers.

I would run 4ga, [sub amp] and 8ga, [comp.sp. amp] power kits, [it will keep the power supplies in the amps isolated from each other] if you have dimming light problems and everything else is good, [alt., batt., power and grounds] then I would try a 1 farad cap on the sub amp, [as close to amp as possible and ground cap at the same spot as amp] 94
