Hey really interested in buying this navigation system, just had a few questions that hopefully someone could help me with. The nav system has cd and everything I need and is cheaper than pretty much any other nav/cd player combo ive looked into, plus its OEM. Anyways im just wondering how hard it would be to wire it in, or if its even possible to do so. It has the full harness still attached to it and would fit perfect in my optional audio console. Also i was wondering if all the nav systems from CTR's were in japanese, like the menus and everything. Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks,
Lasky

If memory serves me correct it is possible to get it wired up and working but the navigation system will only have maps of Japan on it. It would be pretty useless in your car, and I don't know how well it would look being fabricated into an EG. If the harness is intact it should very well be capable of being wired up. You would be doing yourself a big favor by getting a solid aftermarket headunit and navigation system.
^ Correct sir.
When i went to Japan, i picked up a Eclipse Double din with navigation for my 98 RHD ITR (wanted to be rlly jdm and have a jdm radio)
Plugged it up all, and turned on the navigation- (knew it wasnt going to be accurate).
Well, lets just say it said i was outside of tokyo in the ocean according to the radio. lol
The JDM navigation units are programmed to only have Japan onto it. United states isnt programmed because it was built specificly for cars IN Japan.
It would all work, but navi would be wrong. Theres a few people on here that actually have them installed into their EK's.. Search for some people and see how they like it. IMO its just more a show peice rather than functionable
