97EX Reverse Wire Harness HELP!!!
I bought a Reverse Wire Harness for my 97 Civic EX last night, and went to install it today. I turned the car off, took off the current caps that were already in place, and just connect the harness to that. So I turn the power back on, and the stock radio is not getting any power. I try to see if my aftermarket radio is still working. It has power, and shows time, and station.. stuff like that, but the CD part doesn't work, and NO SOUND comes out of the speakers. What the hell am I doing wrong?!?! Thanks.

EDIT:
You have probably blown the constant power fuse in the engine bay fuse box, probably a 7.5 amp

from what you have discribed, it sounds like your stock unit is dead, the aftermarket one has a bad amp, unless youre running an aftermarket amp and the remote turn on wire wasnt wired into it. It should be a simple swap in a civic.
