Does anyone know if factory and/or accessory Honda CD players will accept 80mm CDs? To be specific, I have a 1996 Integra accessory unit.

-G-Man, who knows that 80mm discs don't hold much music, he's just curious if they work.

 

I have had only 1 in-dash CD player that accepted them and that was an advertised feature of the unit. All of the rest of the ones I have had expressly say not to use them.

Read your manual, but I doubt they will work.

 

Well, my manual doesn't say anything about 80mm CDs, and I'm not about to find out by "trial". Oh well, no biggie.

My Panasonic Rebel Gear CD player plays 80 minute cd's without any problems. It was NOT advertised as compatible with 80 minutes cd's but nonetheless it works flawlessly. My panasonic is made by the same company as the stock integra cd player.

Just go out and buy yourself a blank 80 minute cd (they are only $1), burn your favorite songs on it and test it out for yourself.

 

he's refering to 80MILLIMETER, as in a 160mb(i think) Mini-CD.....
