so i finally got a little bit of time to work on my car.

I've been doing searches about the 520t. I read an article saying that if you have a two way remote you wouldn't have to use a diode?

i'm not sure if i should use one or not.

Also i replaced the backup battery with a 12volt 5amp battery. Overkill?

Another issue is that with the viper 5901 i can't set the alarm to auto arming. Its kind of annoying because i would have to arm it, i just like to have the reassurance if i ever forgot to arm the car when im in a hurry. I followed the instructions for reprogramming but so far no luck.
