Just very recently my 50.5x has been acting up.

arm/disarm, everything is fine. when i disarm, and enter the car, turn key, remote/manual start, the doors lock. once i park, and turn off the car, USUALLY the locks open. this is true 9/10 times. at the time of problem, doors will un-lock by door switch, (can't recall if ive tried to manually un-lock doors with the dis-arm of remote, which is while im still in the vehicle with alarm disarmed anyways).

so my question, when desmon installed my alarm, i recall he said he did not solder my wires due to factory wiring warranty issues.. so i don't mind crawling up under the dash and checking the physical connection. can any one tell me what color off the DEI harness im looking for? i have a general idea where to start looking, but not a clue to what color wire.

if desmon can chime in, that would be wonderful.

 

Shoot me a addy and Ill come look at it. Some cars I will not solder into cause of warranty issues. On new cars like at ford,acurar. Were I do dealership work. They will void warranty so I'll tee tap(hate) or twist and heat srink. If there is a problem you should call me.

I been seeing alot of problem starting up with the 50.5 and viper versions. Same issues. Old. Bring it in and I'll get you updated to the newer 50.7x

I tell everyone if there car is under warranty. I will at their option solder and heat shrink or twist and heat shrink. This following a member having the dealership void his warranty on his tl or trying too cause we did a alarm and his radio went out.

Even thou the dealership has to prove that the aftermarket product caused it. It was a big headache.

How do you like the new setup? I tried calling you. The 50.7x is was better then the 50.5x. I hope your enjoying it.

 

never got a missed call, if i had one, i would of answered you back.

the .7x is great. but its not very sensitive at all. it takes a beating to set the warn off, and if it does, usually goes full alert. so the shock in the brain isn't a really good idea.

so im kicking around the idea of adding the prox. sensor. and maybe tilt.

i don't think the tilt is going to prevent a break in, but the prox defenetly will.

other than that, the 2 way is really fast, faster than the 5x. the window mod is nice. i like not having to roll my windows up before parking and leaving my car. arm the alarm, locks, and windows are all automatic. sweet.

Lol, bring it back and i'll add a external shock sensor. Did you turn the onboard sensor up? The proxy is cool but you will get tired of it when it rains. Lmk when your close and we can meet up.
