Does anyone know of an alarm system that would cause an engine to quit after it reaches 1000 rpms? I had a timing belt and water pump changed and now it stalls when it reaches 1000 rpms.

 

I can't see the problem having anything to do with an alarm system.

Will engine restart right away?

Who did the belt and pump, was it installed properly?

What are you loosing when engine stalls, is it fuel or spark? 94
