i jst have a quick question i recently bought a new 2 way compustar alarm and my remote display usually lights up wen a button is pressed the other day i noticed that the light was flashing on/off rapidly for no reason i was wondering is that some type of setting for the lcd display not to light up anymore or is that minor electrical problem inside the remote

 

Sounds like a problem with the remote, I don't know of any Compustar remotes that the illumination light flashes on.
Where did you get the Compustar?
