Default 2 speakers instead of 4 for surround

i drive a del sol... obviously. the 2 speakers in the rear cross each other (perpendicular). i was thinking to just run those to instead of 4. (the door panel speakers) because i seem to hardly hear anything from those unless i open my doors. good idea or bad?

You should be getting sound out of your door speakers. Adjust the fader so you hear a nice full sound out of both. I would stick with 4.
