I'll update this as I go, but For now I am going to show off some of Sony's new GS line of stuff. I have been very impressed with the direction Sony has headed in car audio and since this is my new daily, I wanted to be able to show it off to my customers.

Build consists of:
MEX-GS610BT Head unit
2 - XS-GS80L 8" subwoofers
XS-GS1720 Rear speakers
XS-GS1720s Front Component set
XM-GS400 4 channel amp and
XM-GS100 Mono Sub amp

The plan is to keep every day usefulness of the hatchback and add a slight custom appearance, but nothing over the top.



I started by replacing the rear speakers. No pictures as it was pretty standard.

Picture of the front speakers installed, I didn't like the way the vinyl turned out, so I'm probably going to re do it. A little flashy, but I just had it laying around, so we will see how it goes. More to come later.

 

I knew I wouldn't like the carbon look. Went ahead and moulded in the tweeters and covered in a leather looking vinyl.
