1 12inch Solobaric or Two??
Here's the Deal, I plan on getting a civic hatchback and i want to custom fit my sub into the spare tire compartment. i plan on using fiberglassto make the box in my tire well. now in your guy's opinion, should i use one or two 12 inch Solobaric? I want Hard tight hitting bass!! I'm pushing both subs with a Rockford bd1000.1 the model before the current ones, and the subs are the original L7, not the new ones. the bass hits good and all, but i'm wondering if i push all that power into one sub will it hit better and tighter?? Or am I better off getting another amp to power each sub? Will there be a major difference?? I don't want my bass to be all distorted, i want it hard and tight. Let me know what you guys think i should do.
My friend stuffed a single L7 12 and a BD1000 behind the seat of a regular cab 88 s-10.. if your ears are weak..get the hell out. Since Kicker recommends .88 to 2.0 cubic feet.. i would use one and just bridge the amp.. it wont give it more or less power depending on 1 or 2.. you can make it give 2 the power of one, just have to wire them correctly.. but for EQ, 1 12'.. plus its a weight saver.
you'll be happy with one if your not really into loud stereos... don't believe all that solo-baric **** that one solo is equivalent to 2 regular 12's........that complete BS!!
