02 TL-S Radio Error code problem
I'll try to keep it short and sweet...tried playing an original press cd (but it's kinda scratched)...heard it spin inside the player (no display yet)...then it stops...ejects itself but stops short. I "forcefully" pulled it out the rest of the way. NOW, I get "ErrE01" and "CHEC" displayed on the radio.
On top of that, it took 40 tries to input the radio security code.
So, I'm at the breaking point, but I can't afford the aftermarket radio that I want.....and I'm kinda happy with the OE setup..e.g. not worrying about theives.

Nope. It just expired in January. I'm going to look into getting one of those aftermarket car warranties that I've seen advertised on TV.
