Hey,

i did a search looking for any answer possible about putting a flip screen (Clarion vrx945 deck) in a 94+ Integra. The problem with installing one, is the screen cant open fully because it hits the vent controls and points towards the shifter,

Does anyone have any way of getting it to work right besides cutting my air vents> got pics?

What i did was putting the flip out on the bottom of the cd cut out and it worked fine for my 7" flip out.

 

just mount it in the lower DIN and you should be fine. i have some pics somewhere

 

i did mount it in the bottom din, but i stil have to keep the deck pulled out about 1/2 inch so the screen wont tilt forward. Also when closing it hits the shifter (probably because its 1/2 inch sticking out)

I'll try pushing it all the way in and see how it angles

yea you have to have the deck sticking out alil so it wont hit the climate controls. about the shifter problem just get a small shift ****, im using an S2000 shift **** and it clears fine never hit once.
