Street Modified EF build...
I ran my 1990 Civic STD last year with good results.

But this year I want to be faster. So I sold my B16 and got a B18C GSR long block from HMO with a Y21 w/lsd. Also sold my St sway bar and replaced it with the new ASR road race 32mm one. I had 450f/550r spring rates with is good for a STS car but for SM I went with 700f/700r.
As of right now the car is apart. Should receive new engine today.

Parts I am reusing:

CRX SI disc conversion

Just figured out I will need a DA rear bracket and left side engine mount bracket. Had to order it from Prime Acura in NH because their are no Acura dealers in Maine.

You said its your ef sm build, You do know that EF's are prohibited and can not be legally run in SCCA in SM. Only US chassis cars (ED's) can be used in US SM competition. You might have to be in sort of modified class

Thats ok he doesnt have to worry about that. His car is a ED.
But good luck on your build man.

Installed the ASR RSB tonight. The only thing I noticed is that I can't run a muffler at all. Hopefully no new lots have db requirements.
As you can see the exhaust is right behind the opening in the bar hole.

with the CRX SI LCA

Installed a 15/16 M/C last night;

And a 4040 prop valve

Also I was going to use the intermediate shaft form my old B16 swap but it would not go into the trans. I noticed that it was the oil seal stopping it from going all the way in. Can I get a bigger oil seal or will I have to use the GSR intermediate shaft?

Left GSR-----Right S1 B16
