Default Starting a wire tuck

Ive been looking for months for a complete How to thread on theard on the matter so Ive gone as far as the threads have lead me so heres what I have so far any insight on this or you would like to share your help let me know.

The reason for me starting this is simple, I had to change my break booster and master cylinder among other things. I proceeded to do that and the fact that my engine bay was painted flat black drove me nuts because no matter what it always looked dirty.

At the end of all this work I proceeded to start the tuck with the little info I found here.

Now I need help on 2 things one is normally I see people remove the heater core and run the wiring through that hole in the firewall. I have a problem with that because I live in New Jersey so its freezeing over here so I need an alternate to this.

Other problem I have on the driver side the engine harness clips barely will reach the middle so my only option is to cut and extend every wire about 8 inches. That way the driver side will reach the center It does clip into the interior harness so is it possible to open the loom and pull the entire clip??

This is a picture of the passenger side for reference I didnt do anything with it untill im sure where Im going to pull in the harness from.

you gonna have to undo the wiring loom from both side and see if you can make up some distance to close the gap, so you can plug it up
