no updates on suspension. since we already got the prototypes made and they're up to spec, the manufacturer will only make them in batches. I think minimum is 10 or 20 sets. My buddy was planning on getting a massive order produced, but with the market the way it is, it's not exactly easy to get the business loan he needs lol
as for car updates... I splurged on a recaro yesterday... I gotta call my hookup who gets cheap **** through memoryfab (coincidentally, he's my suspension guy too), so I'll pick up some seat rails asap.
I'm doing my homework on brake pads and whatnot, so I'm gonna hopefully just throw up the white flag and buy the stuff to get it over with. I find myself talking about it a lot and not doing enough, so I need to just buckle down and take care of it.
I'm sending out an updated request for stated-value insurance on my car, and I'm just under $12k w/o the seat
I wonder how much my insurance is gonna go up...

and for the insurance, I would love to do that... but same thing. I dont want to see how much mine will go up. ha ha ha
I liked how they looked better, but they weren't practical or functional because they rubbed. I like meaty tires and that necessity on a 16" wheel didn't work as well as I hoped it would.
thanks for the compliments guys, more pix soon.
I just ordered almost $400 in detailing products, so I'm gonna say after about 10-12 hours of work, I'm very curious to see how my car will look

o got ya man i guess its more important to be fucntional/safe than look good. Just an idea for you to stay OE but add power, a 99-00 EX exhaust manifold. Its a 4-2-1 header basically but its OE and can be found cheap.
I may have some free time in a couple days to get some good pix up. I've been busier than expected lately with school. I decided to put the brake setup off a couple more weeks because I'm tighter with money than I'd rather be, but I need to pay off a credit card, my car insurance, and cash a few paychecks to see if I'm still above my zero-point, financially.
However, I just got my Recaro installed last night, after spending almost six hours detailing it with my horde of new supplies and equipment (I didn't even get a chance to do the interior, engine bay, or even wheels). I wanna see how it looks in pix after a couple coats of jet seal 109, two coats of 50/50 wax, and a coat of buttery wax
All I can say is, as of now, I definitely suggest Chemical Guys for detailing products. Hands down, the best stuff I've ever used.
