Default reego's ej1 build......lets try this again

ok so i picked up a 94 civic coupe from a buddy of mine for a price i couldnt resist.so i decided to make a nice daily driver nothing crazy, my do date for the car is mid may early june,i tries doing to builds which i never finished so this one has to be it.so stay tuned for lots of pics of the progress, now lets get started

the car the day i picked it up


and this is the car at my house







passenger side mount that practically snapped off due to shitty welding
from the previous owner


picked up a jdm gsr trans so i took it appart to inspect it, clean the case and ended up painting it




starter,mounts,slave cylinder and my tools


taking the tranny appart





painting



showed the starter,fork and mounts some love





then i got a deal on a b20 long block... thanks alot 4Friverotter


only one problem...

problem solved









cleaned it and painted it.....



thats all for now alot more updates comming up stay tuned

thanks, im just gonna put the motor as it sits for now, but later on i might slap a vtec head on it.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm are u going to finish this project or are u going to part it out when u are half way done like the other two cars

ok so i worked on my engine bay today here are some pics, i will continue working on the engine bay through out the week so more updates are comming,

the previous owner hacked the original mount off and welded another mount right over it, you can see it on the first pictures,i had to take the old piece off and to do this i had to drill the spot welds off. heres how it went

the piece that was left

grinded some of the paint off to find all the spot welds and started the drilling process

comming off! yay!

and finally off!!!


then i mocked the new mount, hope to have it welded on this week when i finish cleaning the bay



the other side took off some things

thanks to everyone! here are some update, i finally pushed the car over to my buddy's to get the mount welded

my buddies helping me thanks Brian,ed, and jon jon

my brother inlaw starting to clean up for welding

all cleaned up

the mount placed and ready to weld

getting down to business




finished

one shot before we pucshed it back to my house

thanks guys heres are some updates

heres are some shots of what the engine bay looks like and some of the wire tucking i did,havent posted update in a little while cause ive been working alot, the engine bay is filled with dirt and grime, i will be working on the engine bay all this week and hope to have it painted soon,since i dont work so much this week,

the weather finally got better and the rain stopped so I started cleaning my engine bay today,im gonna start taking off my seam sealer and redoing it and preping it for paint soon.



took the hood latch off so i can clean it and matbe paint it
