for a diy. make sure you strip the exterior paint down and throw some sealer on it before you start spraying it'll save you a lot of headache. you dont ever want to throw base coat on top of a cheap single stage paint job, that **** will wrinkle up or react on you. again
btw
for using chromo base. im a ppg guy but also a fan of du pont chromo base especially metallic colors. but
for du pont clear imo they suck compare to ppg clear
there was no need for me to strip the entire interior down for what i was doing, it was the factory paint that i was painting over, i did seal it before i applied the green, everything was cleaned and prepped with wax and grease remover. im not a huge fan of DuPont but i already had the paint before i started the build.
about the rage extreme, i cant seem to find it in a local store only online, maybe HomeDepot? let me know where can i get it at cause i wanna get start on my car and get it to paint.
i get Rage Extreme at Oreilly autoparts, i not for sure if they are in your area yet.
UPDATES
valve cover was stripped completly and painted

Discovered a scary thing, car was in previous wreck and had to remove about a gallon of body filler from the quarted panel that is going to be replaced.

Shaved the two emblems hole and the key hoe in the rear hatch lift gate.
