Default Operation: 98 ek hatch.

Welcome to my 2012 Build.
Operation: Hatchuriku Domo


  1. day one.
  2. Paid 1800.
  3. Test drive, great car, engine is on the way out.
  4. Jack up car, no rust.. ball joints new, exhaust no rust.. i'm amazed

Day One Plan
Jack the car up, remove all 4 wheels, wire brush/power wash all components, sand, and paint this black undercoating/hi temp anti rust coating.(front drivers side done)
Find d16y7 longblock with low miles.(pending, still looking++)
Buy ebay ctr lip kit(done)

Check List
  • Find d16y7 longblock $300-400?
  • CTR lip kit painted and installed $paid - $200 painted black?
  • Find civic hx rims 205/50/14 across? $400?
  • Ground control coilovers $275
  • Tech flex engine bay, clean/detail light "shave"
  • ITR/header sheild
  • fuel/ignition cut off wired in *need help with this

Suspension setup will be worked on after the engine is 100%, most likely doing entry level koni shocks, tein springs, ebay bushings/toe arms/camber kits, extended top hats

Not looking to dump the car, or anything crazy. Small drop, maybe 2 finger gap, nice and safe

little tip stay away from the no name ebay parts, they seem good now because they are inexpensive, but they are inexpensive for a reason

do your self a favor and buy quality parts the first time around they might be a little more expensive up front but you will save your self hassle and problems later when they break and you have to replace them, so buy quality and only have to buy once
