This may be titled a slow build thread but between the small things like rims already switched and all those new parts you got sittin there.. I'm quite amazed and in awe of then attention to detail going into your EJ1.. It's nice to see someone doing it right

The rims are a temporary fix until I come across some Real rims that catch my eye; I just couldn't keep the wannabe "hella flush" look on there.
My buddy's Porsche 914 left today for a cage so I now have the garage open. I am planning to start gutting the interior this weekend and clean up the inside floor, panels etc.
The main focus after the gutting of the interior will be my trans being fixed as well as getting the motor ready to swap. I decided to drop it in and prep for BAR while I wait for my suspension to be broken down and powder coated. I still have a laundry list of parts to purchase.
Stay tuned...

Thanks! I wish the work was more on the car itself instead of just buying parts, but I guess a lot of "work" has been done so I could pay for the parts lol.
Thanks man. EJ love

I need to get dry ice also. I'm going to scrub the interior down and suck up the fluid with my wet/dry vac. I'm a clean, picky ****

Thank you for the kind words. Just stay with it. I'm 30 and now doing this...there is always plenty of time. It took me this long to become somewhat patient and to realize that everything takes time. I was getting super pissed with myself that I wouldn't have the project done in 3 months.
I don't know if I will touch the paint just yet. I am still trying to figure out whether or not this will be by daily/track car or just my track car. If I am able to find a reasonably priced daily in the next couple of months I can take my plans for the build to the next level. Once a daily is brought into the equation I can make plans for a cage and a complete tear down. If it ever gets painted I will keep the Teal Green. The color has really grown on me.

It was hard for me to let go of black being my favorite EJ1 color, but the green just looks so nice when the right color parts (rims mostly) are added. I HATE black rims on Teal Green cars. I just kinda hate black rims period.
I lub joo too!!
I was going to start gutting the interior last night, but after having a few drinks with dinner I decided to just relax. As of now I am waiting for my OEM antenna and radio block off. I bought two of each JIC they break down the road and JIC they are discontinued. I wouldn't want to pay inflated prices on such small parts.

Continued...

Previous owner's 13" spare. IIRC the 13" rim wont clear EX calipers. The previous owner is a f*cking idiot regardless due to other reasons.

The z6...

F*ck the z6, I want my GSR in already...

Already making money back off this car
