You should have tape'd off the valve cover before paintig it, now when you thread in your oil cap flakes of paint will go in your head and throughout your motor.

got it started today, seems to be ok other than a semi loud tapping. I'm hoping its just n need of a valve adjustment since i got the rocker arms pretty mixed up. Its not loud enough to be a rod knock, and cant hear it other than at idle.

That is some serious dedication. Its nice to see a junkie get saved, its like the car had an intervention or something and is going through rehab. lol

How about threading the oil cap before putting the VC on????

Car looks good man, she's coming along nicely! Props on the engine bay, was looking pretty sad at first.

I had my fenders rolled out like that on my old 240 but it was running 275's out back...not really sure what you're gonna be stuffing under there that required that much of a roll. That is unless this thing is going to be a road-course car. Regardless, everything else is looking good. Just hope you don't end up regretting that huge roll later.

the roll looks a lot bigger in pictures than it really is.. and due to my offset, it was pretty much needed in my eyes.. and it just looks cool. lols.
