Default my DB8 build thread

well I've had my car for a little over a year and i decided to make a thread to show you guys my progress.. nothing too fancy just my daily driven 4door. anyways let me catch you guys up to speed before i show you the currant pics and upcomming stuff.

95 gsr 4door integra
-98 front bumper, rear bumper, and side mirrors
-skunkworks sleeves(old school skunk2 before they were skunk2) with stock shocks
-15x6.5 bronze rota group n's ugly but in really good condition, like mint.
-skunk2 camber kit
-suspension techniques front and rear sway bars

pretty much stock besides that, all leather interior, no radio, a slight grind into 3rd gear, and my first car!

when i first brought her home

hella stock

threw on my intake

i ran over something on the freeway slicing 1/3 of the inside sidewall of my rear right wheel =(
then i also picked up a tranny for $300
and a exedy stg1 clutch for $200
and not pictured in here but i had ordered a fidanza lightweight flywheel around 120$ shipped.

had the tranny installed which turned out to be bad =((
it had really bad differential chatter?! any time i was in gear and off the gas it sounded like i was dragging tin cans along with me down the street...
so i pulled that tranny out returned it to the seller, bought a new 3rd gear set from honda. and had it installed in my original tranny. boom, no more grind =D

then N1 had a sale, i think it was for thanks giving or something, but i bought itr door panels for like $80 and some other small things.
-itr door panels and switches $80
-benen tow hook $40
-itr climate -$40
-mud gaurds -$25

and i decided to paint my carpet at the same time which turned out really good!
i used duplicolor carpet/vinyl spray paint, i bought 3 but used about 2 cans.

Then i upgraded my intake setup a little bit. a BPI flow stack and a AEM dryflow filter. i know blox makes the same thin for half the price, but i try to stay away from replicas. i also switched out the red injen couplers with some kragen black ones.

Heres a picture of my 98 tail lights installed and my DC5 INTEGRA emblem.

bought new lugnuts

up to this point

Tried on some Blades

got some fender liners for free from my friend

i started to notice a little spot of oil on the ground after i put my tranny back in, turns out to be the rear transmission oil seal, replacement was pretty easy, i think it cost me like $4 for the seal.

bought a ITR front strut bar and an AEM cold air intake

liked the way my short ram looked better and it was 3" vs 2.5" for the cold air..
so i sold it

my half ITR cluster

picked up a comptech ITR lip

bought another cold air from QWk and painted it lol

bought a itr shift boot, spoon ****, made a shiftknob extender

bought my new suspension finally =DDD
-custom spring rate and length Ground control 400f/300r 7inch length(8inch is normal)
-koni yellows
-ground control top hats in the front
-custom extended top hats in the rear
-ITR 22mm rear sway bar
-ASR brace

s2k seats!!

got state ref'd for my CARB legal intake -_-

then i got these bad boys !!!!!

while i waited for my tires to come in for my volks, sold my rotas and rode on steelies lol.

threw the volks on!

new shift ****.

gonna have another update later this week with some new things !

future plans
-new front bumper & lip
-take off my camber kit(too much bottoming out)
-roll the fenders and slap on some 15mm spacers

long term
-take out abs
-wire tuck?
-motor stuff(i have a bunch of parts already just not on the car yet)
