Thanks for stopping in my thread! Wish it was half what yours is... Although that interior wiring harness isnt really bad, I sorted mine to de-pin ABS, cruise control, A/C, and a few other un-needed wires!

I got the passenger side mount out and test fitted the new one... yes it has surface rust on it already, (jeez I really have to take that subframe out and paint it )

I also took some of the brackets off of the firewall that I wont be using. All of the welds still have to be ground down. The whole bay will be getting some fresh paint this winter, so hopefully that will come out good.

I also got some Skunk2 front control arms from my friend for CHEAP. I will be restoring them and painting them black.

Later today my loom is coming in so I can get some harness work done.. I also found a motor I will hopefully be purchasing soon and I am buying Opossum Jenkins' black MR5's as well!

If the car came with a b17 I would've kept it all original.. but it came with a b18 due to the b17 being blown up, so I decided to do my own thing.

Awesome build. I restored a DA before, and they're really fun cars to drive. I like your collection so far, that front bumper is a keeper for sure!

Keep it up and keep us updated

have you started messing with putting in the S2k Cluster? I know I have seen one DIY thread but it was for a Ek. Would like to see one for the DA.

I haven't messed with it yet.. but the plugs will be desoldered and the whole cluster will be converted to a plug and play swap.

Yep, just gotta find a dirt cheap DA cluster to steal the plugs off of.

I got my "track" wheels in the mail the other day as well.. just gotta find some new stickers

Just to get the brake dust off the insides and get new stickers, then throw some R comps on them. They are the beater wheels.

Finished my brake booster tonight and got it mocked up. The paint came out so so, so I might try it again and I don't know why the hole looks weird in the pic, but it's fine in person. It's drilled and tapped to a 1/4 NPT thread so I can run an AN line from the booster.

I also got my **** in the mail today

slowly but surely... I'm hopefully picking up the motor this Friday

Wow man, the car looks in amazing shape, any rust?? Glad to see another person attempting the K in a DA chassis. I wish you the best of luck on this build, and I'll be watching along the way.

Didn't see this quote before, but it's a kit from svc.com. I DO NOT recommend them for anything as they have horrible customer service and didn't ship half of my order. For the headlight harnesses and the engine harness I'll be using raychem and adhesive heatshrink to keep it all sealed up.
