little update, i took a bunch of old bolts to be hit with an abrasive and redipped in yellow zinc so that when they go back on the car everything will look nice and fresh.

where do you go to get that done to the bolts and how much?

it was this local place called airco plating, cost me like $80 for a pretty big batch of bolts, i got alot of the extra bolts i had around done too.

definatly worth doing IMO.

??? Zinc is commonly used as a coating to prevent corrosion. Although it will corrode if exposed to marine conditions for an extended period of time. Now that i think of it, Joe does live near the water.

the coming along slowly, its been at paint for awhile but should be done for friday hopfully. i might go up and get some pictures of the progress tommorrow though.

plus i just had to get a hernia repair so im kinda hurting and wont be able to do alot of work for a few weeks.

im in florida, and im kinda outta doing too much work right now becuase i just had a hernia surgery.

 

i went by to check up on the paint and my car is all primed and ready for paint he is just waiting for a little better weather. so hopfully it will be ready by the end fo the week.

i took my camera to get some pics but forgot the memory card
