Dude you live in Saudi Arabia and are getting way farther than I am. That's inspireing, I need to quit being lazy.

I can't believe how sick your car is, with as little access to parts as you mentioned.

Great work.

many thanks guys

thanks to H-T aswell since it has always been my #1 source of info really. your EF's inspire me more and more and finally i have done my own, shipping parts from all over the world... my S1 tranny, engine internals, dizzy, etc. came all over from Philippines. aftermarket parts from jhpusa, full-race, EF9 front end, rear wing, rear center plastic garnish(with VTEC logo), CF parts(hood, lip, side diffusers) from passwordjdm etc. all shipping costs would have me bought another B or two

for the wires, the main issue was that... these mid east models never came with USDM DPFI variants so the complete OEM wire loom is different. the old D is a manual choked single down draft carb(non-DPFI), no in-tank fuel pump, no ECU, etc. a complete rewire was necessary

i hope to turbo this baby later on. am currently working on my other B block with ready to go forged parts, port and polished head, etc. my goal is to go side by side with the new nissan 350z . i just want this stock B with few bolt-ons running, making sure everything's well before complicating things further with a turbo setup.

next step is to tune and play with Crome. i hope to get all my tuning gadgets soon so i can have some few hands on tuning sessions.

...and yeah, stop being lazy lol... this thing makes me wake up early and sleep late trying to work all day long till dawn

many thanks guys

finally got the electrical checked and turned on the EF9 cluster. it's cool!!!! i'll try posting some pix later since i was tired taking some shots. the engine cranked and started the first time at 2:30am(local time, +3GMT). wuhoooooo! no CEL's whatsoever!, thanks God all my wirings were working perfect! absolutely perfect!!!

a slight problem with the thermostat though it's stucked up so i'll be checking it later tonight again after my office work.

i'll try posting a pic of the cluster in action later

thank you so much for the offer Bryson i really appreciate it

unfortunately, i already bought the Blox cast log type mani together with the Hasport EFAC kit adapting my old D a/c compressor. i wanted to keep my a/c even when going turbo. i really liked the top mount model that you made but the a/c system is a must in this whole year hot weather country.

here's more pix about my cheap $80 custom made half sized dual core radiator. i have to strip the painted cores. it was damn giving the motor hot temps. it was overheating even after changing my thermostat and thermo switch. i even kept the rad fan running all the time but it was no help. it clears the hood 1cm above with the Full Race traction bar

lesson learned: never paint your rad cores, leave them bare and bold

with a toyota 0.9 rad cap

also i took a photo on the cluster today showing the idle below 1krpm. i was so happy solving the hunting idle issue last night. i replaced the stock B16 stuborn IACV using a D15B JDM SOHC VTEC IACV. i did recalibrate the TPS aswell using my digital VOM. it was set to 0.5 volts. although the bolt pattern is different from the stock B16 IM, i just bolted one temporarily for now just making sure both the holes are aligned with the B16 IM. i will fab a small bracket for the second lower bolt(driver's side) later on.
