This SIR cluster has some centalmetal values and i will rock this with pride . It belonged to a good friend of mine who i met over on ej1squad.com he had it up for sale i bought from him his name is Terry Delgado who passed away a few weeks ago .

so i will rock this cluster for him

well here is a little item i purchased can't wait until i can finally add this. Also I'm thinking about powder coating it black maybe .

This is something i purchased off the snap truck that comes to our shop i will be putting this to use allot i got 2 and one is currently for dirt cheap sale hit me up ! .

cell phone pic

i got a good deal on a stock d16z6 5 speed transmsmission so i jumped on it . i put some tlc on it and got it all cleaned up .

also got my hands n some 5 spd pedals cleared them up from all the rust and now ready to get painted .

also got some OEM goodies in the mail
oem block off plate

and also since my car didn't come with a center console by the dash i went ahead and purchased one brand new from honda

After the first month of the new motor being put it i decided to take the head off and get it machined and resurfaced and install a new head gasket and intake/exhaust gaskets/thermostat/radiator hoses/water pump/ and all oil seals just to get it out the way before i start building the motor . **** might as well get every the right way make it run like new before modifying anything cause thats what upgrading is all about you cant turn a pile of **** into gold by bolting one random parts

i also went ahead and ordered every dam seal and gasket my car has lol 110.00 bucks worth my cost on parts because i work at a shop

and my head gasket came as well

the head showed up today i have got to say im pretty impressed

some people ask me why get your head rebuilt if there is nothing wrong i simply state because i want everything to be done right not wrong .....
with that said here is the master piece work from precision tech

new valves

i went ahead and cleaned the intake manifold as well as the top of the block

i also tackled a little painting project at night came out really dam good .

here is some more pics of the valve cover

incase you are wondering how i did this here are the steps i used

I cleaned the valve cover In a solvent tank
cleaned the valve cover by hand with paint remover
then cleaned it once more in the tank solvent
wiped it down with alcohol
then sprayed vht black primer just one light coat
then i sprayed one heavy coat of the vht wrinkle paint stuck the valve cover in the oven at the lowest heat
10 minutes took it back out to spray the second heavy coat of vht wrinkly paint
then blow dried it at the hottest temp setting
then did the final heavy coat of the vht wrinkle paint
then stuck it back in the oven for 15 minutes

and here it is

the little time i have after work i decided to hook the spray gun up to the compressor i got a gallon of primer mix from my local body paint shop and sprayed one piece of the shift linkage

all sanded down ready for paint

primer coat

and just got done painting the shift linkage with the spray gun came out really straight and clean. i will be starting the piece and the oem shifter as well .

my energy shift bushings are installed

just got the shifter done i was planning on getting a short shifter but nah i rather shift with the original feel and the shift extender for better reach .

all sanded down ready for primer

laid the first primer coat

all done and drying can't wait to shift with the spoon shift ****

i tackled the bottom half trans case and painted it came out really clean

Well i will be ordering my trans rebuilt kit from NITEGRIND transmission because my existing bearings were shot to hell . Also for ecu plans i will be sticking with the auto ecu just DIY conversion from auto to 5 spd then sending it out to katman from jhpusa to chip it so i can get ready for the proper tune once my engine build is ready .

here is what i got done today . like i said i have an hour after work to get stuff done then spin time with my kids before i go to sleep

i got the brake pedal painted my air compressor decided to shoot out water so i had to paint it twice lol

and i got these from frank as well the bolt that holds the brake pedal together with the bracket also got the beauty washers for the clutch and the brake pedal might as well go all out on the pedals cause that is what runs the vehicle lol

just got done putting the brake pedal on the bracket before i head to sleep

downstarinc/boltboys hardware
