well i picked it up today , got it for a good price, burns a little oil. gonna be doing lots to it. first thing to go is the fart can and the tail lights, gonna get 99-00 tails, a muffler that looks stock but isnt too loud. trailer hitch is coming off, tint is coming off. gonna get PIC coilovers probably. still thinking about what rims i want. i want something with a low offset but then again i wanna be able to slam it for meets and such.

im also fixing the surface rust on both quarters and the dent on one quarter. i work in a body shop so i can do these for free. then after all thats done im gonna swap the engine for something most likely dohc. the drop will probably happen in the next couple of weeks.

should pick up the jdm SiR front and rear bumpers with the molding, it'll look sick...o yeah, tail lights must go!! ricey!! good luck with the build!!

 

im gonna pick up lips for the front and rear . replacing the ebrake cables and hopefully that fixes the no ebrake problem. also hopeing to get it on the road today. waiting for an email from my insurance broker.

 

well the build is going slow like i said.
painted the wiper arms when i had nothing to do at work. sanded them all down and primed them first. came out nice. nothing exciting really.
but today i bought a pair of tail lights. i bought them from a jdm importer. not that i really care but is there a different between usdm and jdm tail lights at all? if so are mine actually jdm?


either way im glad to get rid of the clear lights. i hated driving my car cuz of them.
next thing im buying are coilovers and im thinking an apexi axle back. i like a little noise but i hate the fart cans.

edit. also took all the tint off except the rear window because im afraid to mess the defroster lines... if anyone can give me tips on how to take it off without messing them up that would be great.
i spent an hour doing the other windows using ac delco glass cleaner and a razor blade. if you spray the glass cleaner on then scrape the glue off wile its still on it comes off like butter.
