Default my 95 civic thread

well i figured i would start up a thread for the civic. I bought the car from an old friend of mine that had blown up the stock z6 motor for the big lump sum of $50.00. it came to me with a set of eagle alloy wheels, CF hood, catback exhaust and a b&m short shifter, along with altezzas, projector headlights, and enough interior paint to cover a small cow. Here are pictures of when i first got it and painted the wheels red.

I deceided that it was time for a set of stock headlights and corner lights and here was the outcome

i then picked up a 91 civic hatch that was a sorts a jacked up, but the bottom end was still good, so i built up a mini me motor and slapped that into the car, drove it for about 1500 miles and the valve deceided it didnt like me and went through the piston

i then put on a apexi ws2 exhaust and an oem hood

so the car sat parked for another month or so untill i gathered up the funds and purchased another d16z6 for the car along with a rear upper strut bar, rear lower tie bar, and new door panels, along with a new set of wheels and a oem front lip.

and now how the car sits today, well somewhat, it now has a set of full amber corners, a nice buff and wax to get rid of the 2 years of grim the car had sitting on it.

I will update this as much as possible, the car is going to be a built single cam turbo car, just something for cruising around in. Let me know what you think.

whats currently sitting at the shop waiting for install is a set of integra brakes, front and rear, blox 22mm rear sway bar, grant steering wheel, new trunk with no holes in it, and some brilliant black paint for the car. i will get some pics posted up once it gets painted and everything.

well havent really done any updates in a while so here they are, not to much but you get the idea.

deceided to paint the wheels white, and add some grassroots motorsports flavor

the new z6 in place and ready to romp on the autocross track

heres the car at one of the autocrosses, the teins were not on in this pic, and you can tell by the body roll

heres a pic of the rear brake setup w/ the teins and blox sway bar that thing is friggin huge!

I also added in oem stanley foglights, and was sick and tired of how the front bumper looked all chipped up so i painted it black, and deceided to paint the wheels black again. so here is the most recent pic of the car i also changed to a mugen style hood.

Let me know what you guys think so far of the cars progress
