MrM3's Wagovan Mega Build
I picked up this car about a year ago after a friend that works at a Honda dealership told me about it. The people that owned it had bought a new Fit and wanted to get rid of it. I went and checked it and was pretty happy with it and it was only $450 so I couldn't really pass it up. It's been sitting for a while now while I have been collecting parts. I'm hoping to have it done to go to IA in it this year so hopefully I can make it happen. Anyway on to some pics and more info:

Over the long weekend I made some process of the car. I hadn't really wanted to post anything until I started work on it but now I should stay on it pretty steady until it's done.

Started some of the rust repair on the passenger quarter panel.

Got the engine pulled out.

Rusty framerail to fix

Gonna replace the crossmember with one from Full Race

I'm planning on going pretty low so I thought I would try to get some more clearance for the control arms.

oh yea that bearing isnt to bad...lmao alil knock???just by lookin at that i can already tell what that sounded like looks alil worse than mine looked in my 23 and that **** sounded horrible like the car was about to completely fall apart
Ok thanks I'll check that out and see if what I'm doing will give me enough clearance or not. Luckily I haven't made it further than what's in the pic.
Finally made some progress on the car. It's been slow going with my birthday, shopping for Christmas, and then Christmas itself. Anyway got the internals on the engine done and trial fit in the car. I had to modify the passenger frame rail and the firewall for the intake to fit. Still need to modify the driver's headlight bucket for the alternator. The timing belt area on the valvecover just barely clears the hood so I'll have to wait to see if the carbon hood clears after I get it. It's scheduled to be delivered today, so I'm pretty excited for it. The next thing on the list to do is pull the engine back out and start repairing all the areas I modified. After that I'll be starting to clean up the bay so I can start the brake line tuck.
Also got the bodywork done on the fenders and bought two rust free doors and and a hatch so I'll be starting bodywork on them sometime soon.
