Sir conversion? Man I've been eying the headlights like crazy but I don't think I'll be able to justify them since they're 400 bucks for headlights that are purely an aesthetic upgrade. For that price I can just do a retro fit!

You have a build thread for your hatch? I'd love to see progress

Oh cmon now,of course you can justify it! **** looks so much cleaner with em' and > any retrofit!

besides, you'll basically be sittin' on 400 bucks when you get em,because you know you can always sell em back if anything comes up.

Nah no build thread, mine would be slower than yours

At password jdm the sir conversion is like a g note, thats both bumpers with mouldings, jdm fenders, headlights and the wiring harness for the sidemarkers.

I want to try and find a mugen bumper or something for my car, just something different ya know?

And personally I'd rather have the CTR headlights, black housing FTW

Yeah I'm still unsure what to do about the headlights. I hate the amber reflectors

Only made em in 96 to my knowledge I was just in mill creek last night. Interesting

Yeah I know what you mean, the ctr headlights have no amber reflector in them. But maybe you could pull out the reflector if you take the headlights apart and do the DIY black housing setup?

And yes, Midori was only made in 96, the kid that was selling my car told me it was a 98 and I knew he was full of ****, hence the price going down

I calculated how much it would cost to do a FULL respray on my car, gallon of mixed paint, gallon of clear, enough sealer and primer to cover what I need....$500 give or take a little pocket change This is all dupont chroma-premier paint as well and it will be sprayed in a downdraft paintbooth, jealous yet?

James I hate you I have been toying with the idea of pulling a spare set of headlights apart and trying to remove the reflector and doing diy ctr, but I feel if I do that I'll be tempted to do a retrofit.

Picked up some new stuff for the car. 6k hid's and some 16" OZ wheels. Not sure if the hid's work since they look like they've been dragged on the ground, but hey they were free so who cares right? Two of the tires are crap and the wheels need to be refinished, but I plan on doing that on wednesday. The tires will have to wait til I get rid of my heliums though.

Anyone want them?
