This past weekend I took a visit to Build by Notorious in the down town Phoenix area. In advance I apologise the only camera I had was a cell phone cam. This weekends visit was to attempt pull just a little more power out of my set up! This was my very first tune ever since the car was built 2 years ago. Built by Notorious was confident they pull some power out of it. Now this was just a street tune using an Innovative wide band so I don't have any numbers but by the end of the day the CRX feels like a new car. 11's are looking real close now. Thank you so much BBN hopefully one day I can afford to get another dyno get some numbers to post.

good to see you finally decided to run a set of rods and pistons.

I hate that it took you blowing up 5 motors to do it though.

keep up the good work though.

haha! Yea at the time I had 10 z6s just hanging out. I went through them all before Building. But testing was key for me. It wasnt boost that ultimaly blew the motors. It was rpm, oil type and quaity of gas.

1. Ive proven that the z6 valve spring can hold 8500 rpm. I have 65 passes proving.
A. The rod bolts, however, will stretch at any thing passed 8500
2. Castol gtx 10w 30 is my oil of choice.
A. I spun rod bearings on anything else including mobil 1
3. Chevron 91
A. anything else created knock and ping and dramaticly reduced my power band.

Thank you to everyone. The build is not over and neither is my quest. At Famoso Pinks annouced that they will be returning to Vegas and Pheonix this season. Ill be ready.

Amazing stuff here! Glad to hear some singles making serious power!

I just picked up Castrol high mileage 10w30 for my next oil change...your last post makes me smile now.

Best of luck on everything. I just had a daughter and trying to pay for her needs and my sedan is hard. I can't imaging how hard it is to do what you are doing My wife would be unbearable with me bein in the garage that much.LOL

I hear you man. I was once married! My words of advise, if you want to stayed married, is to let people like me make the mistake of choosing the garage over our wives. haha Ive done all the leg work so yo do have to.

Some shots from AZSRA at speed world. Hush22 Performance and CMS Autoglass have collaborated and have opened a new shop location here in Sierra Vista. Chris Stephens owner of CMS Autoglass is one of my closest friends and came out to support! The crx was fast! This was my first chance to run the car at the track since the street tune. First past out of the box 12.23 @110! Whoa I usually have to work hard to get it down that far in the 12s. Its always the same. I have over 400 track passes under my belt and I still get the butterflies on the first pass. That is why it was so amazing to me I was able to get a 12.23 on the first pass cutting a 1.77 60ft. The mile an hour was down due to the fact I noticed to the power band breaking up at the top of fourth gear so a let off just before entering the 1320. I dont know if that was my 11.99 which I doubt but I needed to check my plugs. I still dont have a wide band in the car. Plugs looked great and I retartded the ignition a degree and went back out. I got the right lane and it seems to never fail me, its the slow lane for me. I spun hard 2.7 60 foot for a 12.99 at 112. As I came up to the pits a track offical runs up to me and tells Im off the track for the night. Apparntently I sprayed oil all the way down. I had no Idea. There was no dop in oil pressure. Getting in CRX jacked up I found the problem. For the past two years I have been very successful with using the OEM PCV system. I guess thats not the case anymore. The PCV itself had exploded.

I have more pictures and video will post asap
