So here it is this is my first build thread and frist EJ8.This is my 3rd car.I've owned a '88 CRX DX and a '91 CRX DX.i enjoyed them but after my cousin not offering to make the payments for the ish he effed up on my '91 I just decied to sell it and was looking for an EK hatch but this guy offered me his EJ8 so i looked at it and loved it.Before i get started here are my previous rides:

So here's a little about the car.The car is sitting on front coilovers and stock on the back.The front bumper, hood, top, trunk, rear bumper and mirrors are black. Driver side and Passenger side are a dark grey (mix of satin black and primer grey paint).The car is sitting on Buddy Club P1's, 17 in. in size. Has some black housed headlights and a 99-00 Rear end (taillights and bumper). The motor is a D16Y8 with headers and a cool air intake.Also has an exhaust system, i have the newer piping but still need to make an axleback and order a new tip.

notice in the picture above the rear bumper is not only 99-00 but its like flat black? yeah i decided to repaint them today gloss black with Krylon rattle can.what do you guys think?another coat?i'll also do a clear coat.

 

things i need to do:
-replace shifter and bushing
-measure and cut an axle back and order new tip

thats all i know for now..

ordering my shifter and bushings hopefully sometime this week or next.

 

Don't think any of you noticed cuz you cant really see but my front windshield is effed up bad!haha i'll take a pic tomorrow and i should be getting it replaced on saturday free!

those seats you might get, is it gunna come with a bar? because if you have the harnesses were they gunna hook up to?

MINI UPDATE!
new windshield 1st is a before and the second is an after..also in the last pic i was wondering why my power mirror wasnt working i tried connecting the 2 wires but nothing worked anyone have an idea?

 

Late Night Update

just ordered my new shifter and bushings!no more squeaks, loose shifting, and finally the right shifter.

 

Nice start. What r yur plans? Turbo, swap? Both lol. Check mine out too. I'm pretty close to getting the engine to the shop. Every time I have enough something comes up haha.

 

Plans are a swap.. I want to go h2b but idk or maybe ls/v or turbo the d.. Idk lol. And next year around April, I should be getting it painted. I'm leaning towards Si blue still not sure.. I'll peep your thread once I get on the computer, this iPod isn't workin out lol.

Thanks for the comments guys.i think going turbo will cost too much lol.but maybe we'll see when it comes to swapping a motor it probably wont happen til next summer.

another update!

so today i bought an axle back to finish off my exhaust system.i bought it from a friend brand new.70 bucks.now all i need for the exhaust system is the gaskets and bolts.here's a couple pics..
